You know that dramatic moment in science fiction when our heroes have flown too close to a star or a black hole, and they’re about to break free of the gravity but then they start getting pulled back in?

This week’s episode of StarTalk Radio is kind of like that.

We thought we’d be exploring the new frontier of Season 6, but instead, we’re getting pulled back by the irresistible force of… gravity.

In this case, Cosmic Queries: Gravity, which we’re repeating this week as we prepare for the start of Season 6. (You may also have heard that we’ve been a bit busy getting ready to launch our show both on SiriusXM Radio this Monday and on the National Geographic Channel in April.)

Of course, if we had to pick a show to get sucked right back into, Cosmic Queries: Gravity would be the one. It features Neil deGrasse Tyson and co-host Leighann Lord at their best, answering your questions about the nature of gravity and the other fundamental forces with clarity, insight and even poetry. You’ll learn about Einstein, Newton, the Higgs boson, quantum mechanics, binary pulsars, anti-matter, gravitons, gravity waves and the multidimensional geometry of space-time. Maybe that’s why you voted it your favorite Cosmic Queries episode of the season.

So whether you’ve heard Cosmic Queries: Gravity before or not, take another trip down the gravity well with us this Sunday, January 11 at 7:00 PM ET on our website, iTunes, Stitcher, TuneIn and SoundCloud.

That’s it for now. Keep Looking Up!

–Jeffrey Simons
