The StarTalk® podcast network bridges the intersection between science, pop culture and comedy with clarity, humor and passion. Through our various shows, we explore captivating subjects such as space travel, extra-terrestrial life, the Big Bang, the role science plays in people’s lives, the future of our Earth and the environment, the science behind the most iconic sports plays in history, and breaking news from the universe. Or, as our host Neil deGrasse Tyson says, “Everything under the sun; Or rather under the universe!” for an audience of “All the people who never knew how much they’d love learning about space and science.” Tyson and our other show hosts are joined each week by comedian co-hosts, celebrities, and other special guests.
StarTalk Radio, from Curved Light Productions, was the first popular commercial radio program devoted to astronomy, physics, and everything else about life in the universe. Currently, StarTalk entertains and educates audiences on Youtube and wherever you find podcasts. The show is hosted by renowned astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, the Director of the Hayden Planetarium at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. New episodes premiere every Tuesday morning with video episodes posted on Thursdays.

StarTalk® Playing with Science
On February 1, 2017, we launched our second spin-off, StarTalk Playing with Science, presented by StarTalk and Stitcher. StarTalk Playing with Science teases out the science behind some of sport’s most iconic moments, to explore how and why the play happened. The show explored the seldom-considered marriage of science and sport. It was hosted by professional British soccer player and sports broadcaster Gary O’Reilly and comedian Chuck Nice. Playing with Science was replaced by StarTalk Sports Edition in January 2020. For more information about StarTalk Playing with Science, click here.
