Big News: StarTalk Blasting Off for Sirius… and Late Night TV!

Yesterday, we announced that StarTalk Radio, hosted by Neil deGrasse Tyson, will now be on SiriusXM Insight, the new exclusive, groundbreaking news, information, and entertainment radio channel on SiriusXM.

We’ll be on Channel 121, daily starting 1/12/15 at 5-6 pm ET. New episodes will air every Wednesday, with shows from the archives on the other days. (You can click here for a 30 Day Free Trial: www.siriusxm.com/freetrial)

IMPORTANT: This has no impact on our podcasting schedule – new podcasts will air at 7 pm ET Sundays as usual.

Today, it was announced that StarTalk Radio will be a late-night TV show on the National Geographic Channel starting in April, hosted by your own personal astrophysicist, Neil deGrasse Tyson. Everything’s been kept pretty hush-hush until now, but we can tell you that the show will be taped in front of a studio audience at the Hayden Planetarium in NYC.

That’s all we’re allowed to say about the TV show so far – but I can tell you that the lineup of guests that I’ve seen is pretty spectacular.

One last thing… to accommodate the Sirius launch next week, Season 6 of StarTalk Radio won’t be starting this Sunday as planned. Instead, we’ll have another “Extended Classic” this Sunday, and the new season will start next Sunday.

That’s it for now. Keep Looking Up!
