It’s hard to describe the excitement that goes on when we do StarTalk Live! It’s a bit hectic, a bit crazy. But the moment that Neil deGrasse Tyson and Eugene Mirman step out on stage, everything just clicks into place.

Tonight’s show is at The Beacon Theatre in New York City, our largest venue so far. The last time I was at The Beacon, I saw Elvis Costello. It’s a premier location for events of all kinds, and it’s on the National Register of Historic Places.

But I can pretty much guarantee that what happens on stage tonight will be like nothing the Beacon has ever seen before.

The show takes place on World Environment Day, and given that our guests include Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a professor of Environmental Law and founder of the Waterkeeper Alliance, and His Holiness The Gyalwang Drukpa, I think we can all expect some discussion about our planet, our environment, climate change and more.

Oh, and we’ve got a couple of surprise guests in store, too. It’s going to be great.

By the way, there are still a few seats left if you’ve procrastinated until now. Get them here.

We will be live tweeting during StarTalk Live! using #StarTalkLive. If you’re there, use the # and maybe we will retweet you too! We’ll also be posting to our Instagram and Facebook channels during the show, so check there if that’s more your style.

That’s it for now. Keep Looking Up!
