Neil deGrasse Tyson and StarTalk Live Return to Town Hall in NYC on December 16

We’ve been to Town Hall in New York City twice.

The first time, in February of 2013, Neil and comic co-host Eugene Mirman surprised our fans by bringing out moonwalker Buzz Aldrin, author Andrew Chaikin, and a guy filling in for Jon Stewart on the Daily Show named John Oliver. (You can listen to Part 1 and Part 2 of those shows.)

The second time was in November later that year, when Neil, Eugene again surprised our fans with physicist Brian Greene, astronaut Mike Massimino, and comedian Michael Ian Black. (Unfortunately, this is one of those “you had to be there” moments – there’s no podcast of this show.)

Well, we’re about to hit Town Hall on December 16th, a little over a month from now. And, as usual, we’re planning on surprising our fans with an awesome slate of guests. One difference we do know about now is that Eugene Mirman won’t be our co-host. We’ll miss Eugene, but he’s got some other very important things on his plate to keep him busy.

We also don’t know what the subject of the show will be, yet. Past StarTalk Live shows have covered everything from the bottom of the ocean to the surface of Mars, from inside the human brain to the furthest reaches of outer space, so there’s no telling what Neil, his guests, and the producers will come up with.

Another thing that’s different about this upcoming show is how quickly we’re selling tickets. Normally, at this time, we’ve got plenty of seats left. But I just went and looked at the Ticketmaster page, and I was very surprised to see what’s gone. So, if you are planning on coming to StarTalk Live at Town Hall on December 16, please don’t wait too long to get your tickets.

Finally, a reminder that this event will have a Patron’s Meet and Greet with Neil after the show. If you want to find out more about our Meet and Greet reward level, check us out on Patreon now.

That’s it for now. Keep Looking Up!
