Neil deGrasse Tyson has been a guest on Real Time with Bill Maher more than once. Now it’s time for Bill to return the favor!
If I told you that the always incendiary, never shy Bill Maher was going to be the guest on this Sunday’s StarTalk Radio Podcast, what kind of show would you anticipate?
Well, put away your expectations and get ready for a thoughtful discussion between two of today’s leading voices for rationality and scientific literacy. (Oh, and did we mention that the guest host is the occupant of the first national Chair of Astrobiology, Dr. David Grinspoon?)
It turns out that while Bill Maher, a man whose only exposure to physics was attending a “Physics For Poets” class in college, doesn’t always agree with Neil on the value of space exploration or the dangers of a space race with China, the two have far more in common than you might expect.
