On Sale Now: Tickets for the Final StarTalk Live! at the Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival
All good things must come to an end .
But before you panic, let me be precise: This will be the last StarTalk Live! that is part of the Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival, not the last StarTalk Live!
That’s because this year’s Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival, the tenth, will be the last EMCF. It’s the end of an era, one filled with happy memories for StarTalk fans.
StarTalk Live! actually began as one of the events at the 4th Annual Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival at the Bell House in Brooklyn, NY on September 11, 2011. Since that first show with Neil and Eugene, we’ve performed StarTalk Live! across the US, expanding to include different hosts like Bill Nye the Science Guy and astronaut Chris Hadfield, and even different co-hosts like Scott Adsit.
In recent years, StarTalk Live! at the EMCF had moved from the wilds of Brooklyn to the chic upper west side of Manhattan at the Beacon Theatre. But this year, we’re headed back to Brooklyn. Not to The Bell House, where it all began, but to the beautiful, historic Kings Theatre at 1027 Flatbush Avenue, between Tilden & Duryea in the Flatbush neighborhood of Brooklyn.
The show will take place on September 18th, 2017. Doors open at 7pm, show starts at 8pm. For directions and other details about Kings Theatre, please visit their website.
Our fan presale for this show started this morning at 11am EDT, and runs until Friday at 11am. You can get tickets here, using the password COSMIC.
If you’re a Patreon Patron who is eligible for VIP seats, please check your Patreon account for a message from us with your VIP password. Stacey will be in touch with eligible patrons about about the post-show “Meet and Greet” as we get closer to showtime, likely in mid-August.
As is often the case, we don’t know who Neil and Eugene will be bringing on stage as their guests yet. But I have a feeling this is a StarTalk Live! you’re not going to want to miss.
Also, if you’re a Eugene Mirman fan like we are, sometimes, to employ another adage, when one door closes, another opens: Eugene just launched his new podcast, Hold On with Eugene Mirman. The first three episodes are up on Apple Podcasts. Please check them out.
That’s it for now. Keep Looking Up!
