About Maeve Higgins

Maeve joined the StarTalk family with a bang back in 2014 when she took part in a live show at The Beacon Theater. In her native Ireland, Maeve was the host of a hit television show Fancy Vittles, a columnist with The Irish Times and the author of two bestselling books: We Have a Good Time…Don’t We? and Off You Go: Away from home and loving it. Sort of. She’s performed all over the world, including in Edinburgh, Melbourne and Erbil. Since moving to New York , she’s made a name for herself here, too. In a good way. In fact, Maeve has been embraced by the comedy scene, she has a regular show at Union Hall with Jon Ronson, does stand-up most weeks around the city, and is a frequent guest at the Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival, sometimes without Eugene even knowing it!
