From NASA: These images show the discovery of 2012 VP113 taken about 2 hours apart on Nov. 5, 2012. The motion of 2012 VP113 stands out compared to the steady state background of stars and galaxies.

“Well, they announced the discovery of a new dwarf planet, 2012 VP113, that’s further away from the Sun than Pluto.”
“Wow. That must be the most exciting day for you space nuts in quite a while.”
“Not really. Last week they announced they discovered evidence of “primordial gravitational waves” that support the theory of an inflationary big bang at the dawn of our Universe.”
“Now you’re just showing off.”
